IP Generalist Junior Associate


Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County Office located in Costa Mesa, California is seeking a versatile associate with one to three years of IP experience to assist their growing, collaborative IP group.  This is an in-office (not remote) position.  IP Prosecution and litigation experience preferred, including exposure to trademark clearance, trademark and copyright filings, trademark litigation, copyright litigation, oppositions and cancellations in the U.S. and abroad.  Experience preparing and responding to cease and desist letters, drafting and responding to Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy complaints, handling DMCA take-down notices to completion, and exposure to online and social media infringement matters at the pre-litigation, litigation and settlement stages a plus.  Because this is a versatile position assisting partners whose practices are varied, the candidate may also assist on patent litigation as needed, IP diligence, IP transfers and assignments, licenses, document review, deposition preparation, trade dress and trade secret infringement, and more.  Patent prosecution experience a plus but not required. Collegial office environment with interesting clients, rewarding projects, and opportunity for long-term career growth.  

Our expected salary range for this position is $210,000-$230,000, depending on experience.  This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.
