Snell & Wilmer Associate Tracy A. Olson Selected as a Rising Star by the Arizona Capitol Times

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that associate Tracy A. Olson was selected as a Rising Star by the Arizona Capitol Times in their Rising Stars and Timeless Icons event. 

This award recognizes individuals with the sharpest minds and the tenacity to tackle the most challenging issues. Rising Stars are early in their careers, however, considered dynamic go-getters who tackle complex issues with gusto, earning their reputation through hard work, persistent dedication, and distinct spirit that captures the American Southwest. A virtual event honoring the Rising Stars and Timeless Icons will take place on November 30th, 2023, followed by a networking event on December 12, 2023.

Olson, an Arizona native, focuses her practice in constitutional law, government relations, and regulatory matters. In her regulatory practice, Olson represents and consults with healthcare clients regarding complex compliance questions, licensing complaints, and government investigations. She is often involved in hotly contested election and political law matters, and strongly advocates for her clients inside and outside the courtroom. Olson also maintains a robust appellate practice that includes matters before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Arizona Supreme Court. She has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® on their 2024 “Ones to Watch” list.

Within the profession, Olson is active with Lex Mundi, an international consortium of law firms, and participated in its cross-border Dispute Resolution Program. She also participates in the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations and the Arizona Society of Healthcare Attorneys. Olson was appointed as a Commissioner on the Racing Commission, one of the youngest appointed commissioners on any state board, by Governor Doug Ducey.

In her local community, Olson is a founding member and Past Chairwoman of Ballet Arizona’s Contemporary Council and an alumnus of the prestigious Valley Leadership Catalyze Cohort.
