Susan K. McCann

Susan McCann's practice focuses on commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate finance.

Susan's practice has involved major, multi-site purchase and finance transactions, as well as representation of public real estate investment trusts (REITs) on both office, industrial and retail leasing and portfolio purchase and sale transactions. Susan also has represented and advised major financial service, grocery, produce, urgent care, and medical office tenants with their lease and other real estate needs, including tenant improvement construction contracts, easements, property management contracts, and SNDA negotiations. Susan values her prior experience consulting with senior leadership regarding risk management and ethics and compliance issues while employed with a federal defense contractor, which has provided her with a strong understanding of the practical needs of business clients with respect to their legal counsel.

Susan also has represented numerous real estate developers, managers, and owner/borrowers (as well as major lending institutions and community banks) in all aspects of real estate lending work.  With her background, she enjoys utilizing her broad real estate experience to assist clients with their real estate needs.
