Snell & Wilmer Partners Joshua Schneiderman and Jason Yu Recognized As Legal Visionaries in the 2023 Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing Business of Law Magazine

LOS ANGELES (June 26, 2023) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Partners Joshua Schneiderman and Jason Yu have been recognized as legal visionaries in the 2023 Business of Law: Trends, Updates, and Visionaries magazine by LA Times B2B Publishing. According to the publication, this list recognizes accomplished law firm attorneys who have exhibited exemplary achievements within their respective practice areas. Nominees are determined based on three criteria: noteworthy success and accomplishment achieved in the past 24 months, strong leadership roles within nominees’ organizations and communities, and innovative strategies to help nominee’s organizations and clients avoid risk and leverage opportunities.

Schneiderman is the managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s corporate and securities practice group. He advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. Schneiderman also advises public and private companies on corporate governance matters. Schneiderman has a unique skillset in franchising and cannabis law, and helps clients manage the regulatory complexities in those industries. He is actively involved in the community, contributing as a leader, network builder, and volunteer for several local external organizations and groups. Schneiderman received his J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University.

Yu is a labor and employment and commercial litigation partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, employment liability, intellectual property, and transactional work. Yu has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including trials, and has litigated frequently in both state and federal courts. Recognized as a thought leader in his field, Yu is a frequent guest speaker at several organizations and local businesses, giving seminars on labor and employment law issues. He is actively involved in the community, contributing as a leader, board member, and volunteer for several local external organizations as well as internally for Snell & Wilmer. Yu received his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his B.S. from University of California, Los Angeles.
