Snell & Wilmer Attorneys Kevin M. Brown and Bardia Moayedi Selected As San Diego Metro’s 2023 Men of Accomplishment

SAN DIEGO (July 28, 2023) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorneys Kevin M. Brown and Bardia Moayedi have been selected as San Diego Metro’s 2023 Men of Accomplishment. According to the publication, this list recognizes men who have made significant contributions to the San Diego community.
Brown is an employment and commercial litigation attorney. He represents public and private employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including suits for wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, sexual assault/negligence, wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, whistleblower claims, disability accommodation, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets. He also handles business disputes, aviation-related matters, and defense of OSHA citations. In addition to litigation, Brown routinely counsels employers and human resources professionals on compliance with state and federal employment laws, with a focus on best practices—particularly risk identification and mitigation. He also conducts independent workplace investigations. He is an active member of the Business Forum International (San Diego Chapter), American Bar Association, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, San Diego County Bar Association, and American Inns of Court. Brown serves his community as a Board Member of the Palomar Health Foundation and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He received his J.D. from University of Colorado Law School and his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy.
Moayedi is a corporate and securities partner, chair of the firm’s Technology Industry Group and co-chair of the firm's Life Sciences Industry Group. He primarily advises emerging growth and public companies throughout their life cycles as well as venture capital and private equity firms, particularly in the life sciences, high-technology, financial technology, food and beverage, and clean-technology industries. Moayedi has significant experience representing companies and financial firms in a broad range of general corporate governance and transactional matters. He is a trusted advisor, often serving as the go-to outside counsel or lead counsel to his clients. Moayedi has served for many years on the Board of Advisors for San Diego State University’s ZIP Incubator, which supports and fosters entrepreneurship and small businesses in San Diego. He is a trusted Advisor to the University of California, Irvine’s Cove @ Beall Applied Innovation Incubator and the University of California, Hastings College of Law’s Start-Up Legal Garage. Moayedi received his J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law, and his B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.
