Snell & Wilmer Adds Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Group in Seattle and Portland
SEATTLE & PORTLAND (October 13, 2026) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Kelsey Shewbert, Mariana Bacil Williams, and Jennifer Jamison have joined the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials group.
Their arrivals complete the addition of a team from HWS Law Group, following the recent arrival of partner Anthony R. Scisciani in Seattle. Shewbert joins as counsel and Williams joins as an associate in Seattle, while Jamison joins as an associate in Portland. Together, the group enhances the firm’s litigation capabilities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
“We are fortunate to welcome an established and impressive group of attorneys as we continue to build out an accomplished litigation team on the West Coast,” said Cliff Davidson, Managing Partner of the Portland office.
Seattle Partner Amit Ranade states, “Kelsey, Mariana, and Jennifer each bring a unique set of strengths that complement our existing practice and their perspective will be a tremendous asset to our clients and litigation team.”
Shewbert brings significant experience representing clients in complex civil and commercial litigation matters, including catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, product liability, premises liability, medical and professional liability, and construction defects. Licensed in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, she regularly advises clients across the coast, helping identify business risks and pursue favorable outcomes.
In addition to her litigation practice, Shewbert is an active member of the legal community. She serves as co-editor-in-chief of Washington Defense Trial Lawyers’ Defense News publication and as secretary of the organization’s Board of Trustees.
“Snell & Wilmer has a strong reputation for handling sophisticated matters both regionally and nationally while maintaining a commitment to client services and practical problem-solving,” said Kelsey Shewbert. “The firm’s depth of experience across practices creates an exceptional platform to continue helping clients reach success.”
Williams represents clients in both litigation and transactional matters, including advising on construction defect, contract disputes, product liability, corporate governance, and commercial litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade practicing law in Brazil in both private practice and in-house counsel roles.
Jamison represents clients in complex civil disputes, including labor and employment, product liability, personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and contract disputes. She has extensive experience in written and oral advocacy, complex motion practice, and trial preparation, and has argued before the California Court of Appeal.
