Snell & Wilmer Represents SocialPilot in Acquisition by Group.one

Jul 28, 2025

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer advised SocialPilot, a leading platform that helps small businesses and agencies plan, publish, and analyze content across major social media networks, in its acquisition by group.one, a company that provides digital solutions such as Software as a Service (Saas), cloud hosting, and digital marketing services.

Founded in 2014, SocialPilot is well-known for its client management, detailed reporting, and streamlined collaboration and approval workflows. The platform was also an early adopter of AI in social media marketing through its AI assistant, “AI Pilot.”

Headquartered in Sweden and with offices in fifteen countries, group.one serves over two million customers, predominantly small- and medium-sized enterprises. The company has significantly grown its revenues (pro forma) to over €350 million.

The acquisition of SocialPilot is expected to contribute to group.one’s efforts to expand its suite of integrated SaaS solutions. It is anticipated that users will benefit from an end-to-end platform to help build their brand, create engaging content, and manage their online channels, all in one place.

“I am extremely proud of the platform we have built at SocialPilot,” said Tejas Mehta, Co-Founder and COO of SocialPilot in a recent press release. “Becoming part of group.one is an exciting opportunity to connect social media marketing with other essential tools SMBs use every day, and to keep advancing our platform in meaningful ways. I look forward to continuing this journey with group.one along with our very talented team.”

“Joining group.one is an exciting new chapter for SocialPilot,” said Jimit Bagadiya, Co-Founder and CEO of SocialPilot. “Over the last decade, we have focused on making social media marketing straightforward and impactful for small businesses and agencies. With group.one’s European reach and commitment to empowering SMBs, we look forward to bringing our solutions to even more customers in Europe.”

Tony Caldwell and Nikki Smith led the Snell & Wilmer team advising SocialPilot throughout the deal. The acquisition team included Jeffrey A. Scudder, Monica Bell, and paralegals Sharon Ferraro and Scott Schahn (Corporate and Securities); Bahar A. Schippel and Bill Kastin (Tax); Craig O’Loughlin (Labor and Employment); and R. Lee Fraley and Gabrielle M. Morlock (Intellectual Property).
