Snell & Wilmer's Women's Initiative focuses on the retention and promotion of women attorneys at the Firm.
On behalf of the Executive Committee, and as long-term Snell & Wilmer attorneys, we were excited to help launch the Women Attorney Advancement Program, which focuses on career guidance and mentoring efforts designed to increase the number of women attorneys successfully advancing to partnership. Snell & Wilmer values the diverse perspectives and abilities that our women attorneys bring to the Firm, and we are proud to represent our fellow women in the highest levels of decision-making at the Firm.
Representatives from each office (men and women, partners, associates and counsel) brainstorm ways to aid in the advancement of our women, and plan programs and events to help combat the attrition of qualified women that plagues the legal industry. The Women's Initiative has established alternative schedules and mentoring programs aimed at ensuring that our Firm culture is not just welcoming to women, but also celebrates the diverse perspectives and important contributions of our women attorneys.
