NLRB Final Rule Requires Notice Posting of Employees’ Rights under the NLRA
Various federal and state laws already require that employers prominently display labor and employment law posters in the workplace. These posters are designed to inform employees and employers of their rights and responsibilities under equal employment opportunity laws, family and medical leave acts, minimum wage and overtime laws and other statutes. Employers covered by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), which includes most hospitals and health systems, now have a new workplace posting requirement to add to this list – a poster informing employees of their rights under the NLRA.
