On September 27, 2010, President Obama signed the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 (the “Act”). Among other things, the Act permits participants in Section 401(k) or Section 403(b) plans to convert pre-tax amounts into after-tax amounts, commonly called “Roth amounts” inside a plan.
