Jada Allender is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group and co-chair of the firm’s Sports and Entertainment Industry Group.
In her general corporate practice, Jada focuses on advising clients on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate organization, private equity financing, deal negotiation, SEC reporting, and corporate governance. She helps clients devise business solutions, structure, and form business entities, prepare shareholder and director approvals, draft purchase agreements, and other transaction documentation.
Within her sports law practice, Jada counsels clients regarding collegiate athletics name, image, and likeness (NIL) issues and has represented NIL collectives, brands, agencies, universities, and high-profile college athletes throughout complex transaction and compliance in this evolving space. Jada advises on media rights, production, athlete eligibility requirements, agency relationships and contracts, team ownership and investments, and endorsement deals. Her experience also includes agreements and arrangements in connection to venues, sponsorships, marketing, and CFP bowl games. As such, Jada is a speaker and author on a number of sport law issues for various industry organizations and educational institutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Jada worked in the sports and entertainment industry where she gained experience with professional and collegiate athletics operations, sports media production, and NCAA compliance.
