Priscilla is also an experienced litigator in the federal and state and local tax field. Priscilla has litigated and resolved countless complex federal, state, and local tax disputes for individuals and business entities. As a former IRS Chief Counsel attorney, Priscilla can provide unique insights to assist clients through all stages of federal tax disputes from audit, to appeals, to litigation. Priscilla also has extensive experience handling state and local tax matters including franchise tax, income tax, gross receipts tax, sales and use tax, and other excise tax audits and appeals before various state revenue departments including in California and Oregon. In addition to business tax disputes, Priscilla also represents individuals in their tax disputes at the federal and state and local level. Priscilla has handled multiple high-net-worth individual residency audits as well as general income tax audits.
Before joining the firm, Priscilla served as a partner at a California law firm and as counsel at multiple Am Law 100 firms, where she represented Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals in complex, multijurisdictional disputes. She also spent several years with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she litigated cases before the U.S. Tax Court and led internal trainings on trial strategy and evidentiary issues. Her experience includes managing all phases of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
