Kourtney George is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group, with a focus on investigations, government enforcement, and white collar protection as well as cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy.
In her investigations, government enforcement, and white collar protection practice, Kourtney regularly conducts internal investigations and represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of matters relating to federal and state criminal, civil, and regulatory enforcement.
In her cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy practice, she helps clients across a spectrum of industries manage cybersecurity risks, respond to cyber-attacks, and defend related regulatory enforcement actions. Kourtney regularly assists clients in their data breach investigations and cybersecurity incident response, including advising clients on data breach notification responsibilities and providing strategic advice on how to manage cybersecurity risks. Her work also includes counseling on compliance with various data privacy laws for day-to-day business operations.
Kourtney is also involved in legal organizations including the Arizona Women Lawyer’s Association and the Arizona Bar Young Lawyers Division.
