John Urbanic is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has experience in patent and trademark prosecution, including drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international applications.
In the patent prosecution area, John has experience with a range of technologies, including mining and mineral processing, critical minerals, battery technologies, and battery recycling. His experience in these areas includes work involving emerging technologies and processes across the battery and broader energy and materials sectors.
John received his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Science from the University of Michigan.
