Biography

Greg Sonnenberg’s area of focus is complex commercial litigation and trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation. He serves as litigation counsel on matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, accounting, corporate ownership, misappropriation of assets, and unfair competition. He regularly represents trustees and trust beneficiaries in contested estate litigation.

Greg serves as an advisor to evaluate litigation risk and advises clients on resolving disputes before initiation of formal litigation. This includes writing and responding to demands and negotiating settlements. He has considerable experience representing and counseling clients through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Greg worked for Deloitte in the audit and financial services group. His work involved auditing corporate financial statements and evaluating the risk of fraud and business control deficiencies. Greg is a certified public accountant, and his background further supports his effective handling of legal matters requiring strategy and financial analysis.
