Emily Thomason is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. She represents public and private entities, as well as individuals, on a variety of real estate transactions, such as commercial leases, acquisitions and sales, property management, and development and operation of master planned communities and condominiums. Emily regularly performs due diligence for real estate and lender-side financing transactions, and she has extensive experience reviewing title and survey for a variety of projects and properties.
In her practice, Emily also focuses on working with airport sponsors to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant assurances, FAA regulations, and other applicable laws. Her airport-related work further includes reviewing and drafting a variety of agreements, such as leases, subleases, licenses, development agreements, Fixed Base Operators (FBO) agreements, concession agreements, and maintenance agreements.
Beyond her real estate practice, Emily serves as Co-Chair of the Community Involvement Committee in the Tucson office. She is also a member of the firm’s Attorney Development Committee and is actively involved in running the Summer Associate Program is the Tucson office.
