Biography

Emily Statham is an associate in the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group. Emily advises clients on complex regulatory matters involving pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, including the development and commercialization of human and veterinary drugs and biologics, digital health tools, and products that incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning. She assists companies and major hospital systems on compliance with states’ Board of Pharmacy licensure and reporting requirements, and she conducts comprehensive risk assessments regarding compliance with state and federal controlled substances laws.

In addition, Emily drafts regulatory compliance provisions, including representations and warranties of commercial agreements. She also conducts internal investigations of allegations concerning compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Current Good Clinical Practices (cGCP), and other U.S. FDA regulatory requirements.

Emily Is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is not licensed in Arizona.
