Brett Tobin is an associate in the Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group. He represents clients in healthcare professional liability matters and a wide variety of other commercial matters. Influenced by family members in the healthcare field, Brett is particularly interested in representing physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
Before entering private practice, Brett served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he held several roles, including trial counsel, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, administrative law attorney, government contracts and fiscal law attorney, and legal assistance attorney. His government experience exposed him to a broad range of legal matters, including administrative and criminal investigations, government contracts, estate planning, and consumer finance. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan M. Brnovich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and as an honors law clerk with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
