Snell & Wilmer Welcomes Sheryl Thomas to the Firm

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Sheryl Thomas has joined the firm as counsel in its Labor and Employment Practice Group.

Thomas’ practice is concentrated in immigration, she has more than 20 years of experience advising organizations on the intersection of U.S. immigration law, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance.

Thomas works with executive leadership to develop immigration strategies aligned with enterprise risk management and long-term talent planning, helping organizations maintain workforce continuity in a complex regulatory environment. With extensive experience supporting high-growth technology and healthcare companies, she designs scalable immigration programs across a full range of visa categories while integrating compliance and global mobility considerations. Thomas also advises on compliance governance, including I‑9 programs and audit readiness, and provides strategic guidance on regulatory developments affecting workforce strategy.

Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Thomas was a Supervising Attorney for JCL Immigration Attorneys. Thomas received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from DePaul University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Smith College.
