Snell & Wilmer Welcomes Derrick Kyle to the Dallas Office

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Derrick Kyle has joined the firm’s Dallas office as an associate in the Special Litigation and Compliance Practice Group. Kyle focuses his practice on international trade and national security matters, including export controls, economic sanctions, customs compliance, and foreign investment reviews.

Prior to joining the firm, Kyle served as a Senior Associate at Torres Trade Law in Dallas, where he advised clients on all facets of global trade compliance, including export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), customs and import compliance matters, and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) reviews. He also conducted internal and government-facing investigations involving export, sanctions, and customs compliance issues.

Kyle earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his B.A. from Texas A&M University. He is admitted to practice in Texas and before the United States Court of International Trade.
