Snell & Wilmer Welcomes Carina S. Arellano to the Firm

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Carina S. Arellano joined the Phoenix office as an associate in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group.

Arellano represents clients in a range of transactional matters, including technology licensing and commercialization, intellectual property transactions, commercial agreements, data protection and privacy, and government contracts. Her practice includes technology licensing and commercialization, SaaS and software agreements, development and collaboration arrangements, intellectual property transactions, and other commercial agreements. She also advises clients on data protection and privacy, including data lifecycle practices and external-facing policies and terms, intellectual property considerations in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, and counsels government contractors in connection with prime and subcontractor agreements. She has experience representing clients in the life sciences, agricultural technology, software, and data-driven industries.

Arellano earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she received a certificate in Law, Science, and Technology with focus areas in Life Sciences and Data, Privacy, and Security. She earned her B.A. in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies from Duke University, with minors in Global Health and Philosophy.
