Snell & Wilmer Partner Matthew P. Chiarello Elected as Vice-Chair of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Board of Trustees
PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix-based Partner Matthew P. Chiarello has been elected as Vice-Chair of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Board of Trustees.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and advancing the legacy of famed American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Founded in 1940, the Foundation owns and stewards Wright’s two most personal architectural works: Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin and Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It also supports educational programs, research, public tours, exhibitions, and initiatives that promote architecture and design.
Chiarello focuses his practice on employee benefits, advising employers on a wide range of ERISA, retirement plan, health and welfare plan, and executive compensation matters. He helps organizations navigate complex regulatory requirements, resolve benefits issues arising from corporate transactions, and maintain compliance with federal laws, including the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, and the Internal Revenue Code. Chiarello has experience guiding clients through IRS and Department of Labor investigations, correcting plan compliance issues, and developing practical solutions that support employers and their workforce.
In addition to his legal practice, Matthew Chiarello is actively involved in his community and firm leadership. He has been engaged with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation since 2017, previously serving on the board of governors, board of trustees, and as chair of the advancement committee. Chiarello is also a longtime leader with UMOM New Day Centers, where he served on the Board. In addition, Chiarello serves on Snell & Wilmer’s Hiring and Community Involvement Committees, helping support talent development and community engagement initiatives across the firm. He also contributes to the legal profession through thought leadership, sharing insights on employee benefits and executive compensation matters through the firm’s Benefits Blog.
