Priscilla Parrett Named to Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association Taxation Section
PORTLAND – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Priscilla Ayn Parrett, Counsel in the firm’s Portland and California offices, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association’s Taxation Section, effective September 18, 2026.
The California Lawyers Association Taxation Section is one of the largest and most active sections of the CLA, providing continuing legal education, advocacy, and professional development opportunities for tax attorneys throughout the state.
In this leadership role, Priscilla will help guide the Taxation Section’s strategic direction, programming, and policy initiatives on behalf of tax practitioners across California.
Priscilla is a seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience handling complex disputes across a range of industries and forums. She focuses her practice on complex federal, state, and local tax controversies, as well as other general business litigation. As a former IRS Chief Counsel attorney, Priscilla provides unique insights to assist clients through all stages of federal tax disputes, from audit to appeals to litigation. She also has extensive experience handling state and local tax matters before various state revenue departments, including in California and Oregon. Priscilla is a frequent speaker on federal and state and local tax topics.
Before joining Snell & Wilmer, Priscilla served as a partner at a California law firm and as counsel at multiple Am Law 100 firms, where she represented Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals in complex, multijurisdictional disputes. She also spent several years with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she litigated cases before the U.S. Tax Court and was a regular presenter on trial strategy and evidentiary issues.
Priscilla earned her J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, where she served as Symposium Editor of the UCLA Law Review. She earned her B.A. in Political Science, with honors, from Rice University. She is admitted to practice in California and Oregon.
