RFP Analyst

Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the western United States, seeks an RFP Analyst. The specialist will  provide high-level support to the senior members of the marketing department and firm lawyers in connection with managing the RFP response and proposal process. The specialist will be responsible for drafting, editing and publishing electronic and print content for a variety of marketing and business development initiatives, including but not limited to the website practice descriptions, proposal documents and attorney biographies, as well as reputation-building materials. It is important for the specialist to develop effective working relationships with attorneys and marketing team professionals in order to collaborate and deliver effective, detailed materials. The position will be based in the firm’s Phoenix office.


  • Managing the RFP response and client proposal process
    • Review incoming RFPs across offices
    • Manage the response process
    • Lead response for Phoenix RFPs
    • Consult/advise on RFPs from Snell & Wilmer offices outside Phoenix (offering suggestions, answers, resources and assisting where possible)
    • Meet/speak with the responsible attorney and team members
    • Draft and edit content as needed including cover letters and tailored materials
  • Update the firm’s RFP resource library
    • Experience database
    • Standard answers
    • Client permissions
  • Mange the attorney bios
    • Work with new Phoenix attorneys to draft/post bios
    • Assist with bios for attorneys from outside Phoenix as needed
    • Assist attorneys with bio updates and rewrites
  • Draft and update practice and industry descriptions
  • Provide guidance/training to attorneys across the firm on RFP responses, attorney bios and web content
  • Assist with nominations and directory updates
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices


  • At least four (4) years of experience with professional services firms and/or business-to-business marketing experience (with “Big 4” accounting firms, other law firms (preferred), consulting firms, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Excellent writing, communication (both written and verbal) and follow-up skills are essential (AP Style editing experience preferred)
  • Proposal experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including MS office
  • Demonstrated experience to work cohesively independently as well as with team members
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented, as well as the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work before and after hours and travel as needed
