This issue of the Workplace Word will address changes to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies, including:
• The expansion of qualifying exigency leave to include members of the Regular Armed Forces as covered active military duty members;
• The addition of covered veterans as servicemembers included in the military caregiver leave; and
• The new optional forms for employees.
