SW Benefits Update - 2017 End of Year Plan Sponsor “To Do” List (Part 1) Health & Welfare
As 2017 comes to an end, we are pleased to present our traditional End of Year Plan Sponsor “To Do” Lists. This year, we are presenting our “To Do” Lists in four separate Employee Benefits Updates. This Part 1 will cover year-end health and welfare plan issues. Parts 2, 3, and 4 will cover executive compensation issues, qualified plan issues, and cost-of-living increases, but not necessarily in that order. We are publishing Part 1 earlier than normal to make it align with fall open enrollment. We expect to publish the other three Parts in late October or early November. Each Employee Benefits Update provides a “To Do” List of items to consider taking action on before the end of 2017 or in early 2018.
