Snell & Wilmer Partners Monique Lashbrook and Adriana R. Ochoa Named Finalists for Business Women of the Year Awards by the San Diego Business Journal
SAN DIEGO – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to share that partners Monique Lashbrook and Adriana R. Ochoa have been named finalists for the Business Women of the Year Awards by the San Diego Business Journal. According to the publication, the awards recognize dynamic women business leaders who have contributed significantly to San Diego’s workplaces and communities. Finalists will be honored, and winners will be announced, at the Business Women of the Year Awards 2025 on Thursday, December 11.
Lashbrook is a real estate partner whose practice also includes corporate and commercial finance matters. She has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, commercial mortgage financing, commercial leasing for industrial and retail spaces, and property management. She previously served as deputy general counsel for the City of San Diego’s Redevelopment Agency, building on her experience with complex transactions and public-private projects. Lashbrook serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicano Federation, is Deputy Regional Governor of the Hispanic National Bar Association, is a member of the University of San Diego’s Burnham Moores Center Real Estate Committee, and contributes to the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center.
Ochoa is a special litigation and compliance partner who focuses her practice on public law, governance, and regulatory matters. She advises private clients and public agencies on issues involving healthcare districts, water and wastewater authorities, contracting, and eminent domain, and has significant experience with key California statutes such as the Ralph M. Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, and the California Voting Rights Act. She has served as Chair of the Attorneys Committee for the California Association of Sanitation Agencies and is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and San Diego Lawyers’ Club. She is a Madrina Member and former President of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund Board and serves as a Trustee of the Hans and Margaret Doe Charitable Trust.
