The flu season officially started September 1, 2009. But, this is a unique year. Governments at every level (foreign, federal, state, and local) and non-governmental organizations (Red Cross) have made great efforts in preparing our communities for what is commonly referred to as the swine flu (a/k/a H1N1 virus) pandemic. However, many companies fail to realize the severity of a possible flu pandemic and have declined to implement a strategy that will insure continuous business operations.
