Robert Kethcart is a business attorney and litigator. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage, real estate and business litigation, and medical and dental liability defense.
In the insurance arena, Robert advises policyholders and carriers with a wide range of issues involving commercial insurance. He has extensive experience with commercial general liability (CGL), commercial auto, commercial property, directors & officers (D&O), errors & omissions (E&O), educators' liability, medical/dental professional liability, excess/umbrella liability, and reps & warranties insurance policies. He litigates coverage disputes and bad faith claims.
Robert represents businesses and individuals in complex business litigation involving real estate title and lending disputes, contract-based claims, and business torts such as fraud, misrepresentation and intentional interference with contract.
Robert has also represented healthcare providers in Arizona for more than a decade. He provides legal advice to dental and medical practices about the various issues that arise during the day-to-day operation of the businesses. He advises dentists in connection with selling and buying dental practices. He also represents healthcare providers in litigation and before state licensing boards.
In addition to his normal areas of practice, Robert is a member of the firm’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Team, an interdisciplinary team of lawyers, formed quickly after recognizing the complex legal issues that businesses would confront as a result of the coronavirus. This group has issued legal alerts and newsletters on the topic and has hosted multiple webinars to address a range of concerns.
