Marissa Kazemi focuses her practice in corporate and securities, real estate and commercial finance. She has experience assisting with corporate innovation projects, mediation preparation, and due diligence for international acquisitions. Marissa represents corporate and business clients as well as start-ups and emerging businesses in a variety of general corporate governance and business matters, including formation and organization of entities, joint ventures, contract negotiations and general contract review. She has assisted corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions and minority investments.
Marissa has experience drafting and reviewing commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents. She regularly assists clients with acquisitions and dispositions, and she represents regional and national banking associations with transactions regarding refinance, development and construction loans. Marissa represents local and national companies in connection with a variety of aspects of oil and gas and other energy infrastructure projects, including right-of-way and easement acquisition, pipeline and asset acquisition, and land use and permitting.
In addition, Marissa serves as a member of Snell & Wilmer’s Committee on Diversity & Inclusion, Community Involvement Committee and the Attorney Development Committee.
