Tracie Stender represents businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies on employment, governance, and operational matters, including compliance, drafting policies and procedures and negotiating contracts for management, and professional and technical services. Tracie advises clients across a broad range of industries, including hospitality, aviation, healthcare, water, and wastewater. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Tracie served as the corporate director of compliance – senior counsel at JC Resorts.
Tracie focuses on counseling at all stages of the employment relationship, from recruitment through separation, union relations, and auditing. She discreetly and expeditiously investigates highly confidential matters involving officer and employee misconduct, conflicts of interest, fraud, and harassment. For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, Tracie litigates in state court and administrative proceedings, including before the Labor Commissioner and Public Employment Relations Board.
