Stephen Wright is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His practice combines commercial real estate transactions and real estate focused corporate law.
Mr. Wright’s national commercial real estate practice includes: purchase, sale, ground-lease and development transactions; Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) portfolio acquisitions and dispositions; condominium development projects and navigation of state specific condominium statutes; drafting Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSAs) (including forms) for funds, syndicates, developers and institutional clients, and handling diligence and closing tasks; guidance of developers through materialmen’s lien and surety bond issues, including surety bond claims resulting out of subcontractor noncompliance; drafting and negotiating construction agreements; and negotiating leases and related lease documents.
Complementary to his real estate practice, Stephen’s corporate law practice includes advising clients on formation of their real estate syndication vehicles, funds, and Tenancy in Commons (TICs) as well as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance.
Understanding the necessity for rapid deployment of resources, Stephen takes a holistic approach to ensure that clients have the tools and support that they need to pursue new opportunities with speed.
