Megan Aldworth is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Finance Practice Group. She represents national and regional banks and private lenders in a wide range of commercial real estate lending transactions, including loan originations, acquisitions, construction and development financing, credit facilities, loan modifications, and refinancings. Megan has experience handling complex, high-dollar transactions, including credit agreements with multipart loan structures, revolving and term loan facilities, and loans secured by commercial real estate totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. She regularly drafts and negotiates credit agreements, loan documents, ancillary loan documents, intercreditor agreements, subordination agreements, SNDAs, landlord waivers, and tenant estoppels. Megan represents lenders in franchise financing transactions, which involve significant due diligence and multi-location collateral structures.
Megan also has significant experience in the workout and restructuring space, where she has handled forbearance agreements involving complex loan modifications, discounted payoff agreements, short sale agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and loan purchase and sale transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Megan represented national automotive lenders in commercial real estate matters, including refinancings, construction loans, equipment loans, and floor plan financing. She also practiced financial services litigation, where she represented creditors in bank operations disputes, commercial collections, and enforcement actions.
