Magnolia Movido is an innovative tax professional and an enthusiastic relationship builder. She has more than 16 years of "Big Four" accounting firm experience. In her previous role, she managed global compliance and reporting for middle market to Fortune 10 companies, which involved launching businesses into new territories and jurisdictions, identifying and mitigating risks for foreign entities, and ensuring compliance with local laws. She has experience in multifaceted international tax transactions and working with global teams in more than 160 countries.
Magnolia is an IRS enrolled agent. She has deep tax technical knowledge, assisting multinational clients with international tax compliance and tax planning. Originally from the Philippines, Magnolia has experience litigating before the Philippine Court of Tax Appeals, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court with respect to tax refund and assessment cases. She also represented clients before the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Magnolia is passionate about education and has served as a professor of law in the Philippines, and she is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Metropolitan State University (Master of Professional Accountancy Program).
