Biography

Ian Carmen is an associate in the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group. He represents individuals and businesses in a range of commercial and civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on construction disputes. His experience includes construction defect claims, mechanic’s liens, bond claims, breach of contract, fiduciary disputes, insurance coverage, premises liability, and real estate disputes.

Ian represents clients throughout all stages of litigation in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. He has experience handling matters involving both residential and commercial construction projects, including disputes involving general contractors, subcontractors, developers, homeowners, and suppliers.

Ian earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.A. in Criminology from the University of New Mexico.
