Gabriela Berigan is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on trademark and copyright law. She manages large, multi-jurisdictional trademark portfolios for U.S. and multinational clients, and regularly handles trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement matters, including proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). Gabriela also counsels clients on copyright registration and enforcement, and has experience with intellectual property due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
Gabriela received her Juris Doctor (J.D.), cum laude, from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal, and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry, with honors, and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to joining the firm, Gabriela served as a legal clerk for the Honorable Andrew M. Jacobs of the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.
