Elizabeth is a trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience focusing on business and employment litigation involving commercial disputes and employment matters. She has handled breach of contract disputes across multiple industries, including health care, construction, real estate and manufacturing. Elizabeth regularly represents employers in employment litigation and business torts cases, with an emphasis on the enforcement of non-competition agreements and the protection of trade secrets in Colorado and other states. She also advises employers concerning claims of discrimination, wage and hour violations, retaliatory discharge, disability and family leave issues, whistleblowing, wrongful termination and sexual harassment. Elizabeth has represented clients at all stages of litigation, including taking cases through the administrative stage, seeking or defending a temporary restraining order and/or preliminary injunction, and trial or arbitration.
Elizabeth advises clients on employment contracts and best practices for responding to workplace complaints and conducting workplace investigations. She has conducted workplace investigations and provided investigations training for compliance teams and human resource departments.
Elizabeth has also advised clients regarding compliance with the Telephone Communications Privacy Act (“TCPA”) and has represented clients in litigation, including a class action, claiming violations of the TCPA.
