Bryan “Bud” Todd is an associate in the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials group in the Salt Lake City office. Bud’s practice encompasses all aspects of civil litigation, with experience handling intellectual property matters, including patent and trademark infringement disputes as well as trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Bud earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he received a certificate in Law, Science, and Technology with an emphasis in intellectual property. While in law school, he worked in the Lisa Foundation Patent Clinic, assisting individuals and small businesses with patent and trademark protection. Bud also was an extern at Skysong Innovations, Arizona State University’s technology transfer office, where he supported commercialization strategies for university-owned intellectual property.
