Tony King represents clients in a variety of complex business disputes and commercial litigation. He regularly handles litigation in federal and state court involving business contract disputes, real estate disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, employer-employee disputes and a plethora of business torts and other claims. Tony has experience with each stage of litigation, from beginning to end, including the discovery process, managing complex e-discovery cases, summary judgment, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, equitable relief such as temporary restraining orders, post-trial motions and collection efforts after judgment. He has represented clients in a variety of industries including wholesale distribution, financial institutions, franchises, and real estate.    

Tony has experience with a variety of real estate litigation issues, including lease disputes between landlord and tenant (both commercial and residential), title disputes, slander of title and disputes relating to real estate brokers and agents. 

He also has experience with financial services litigation, including the representation of national banks in cases involving a variety of contract and tort claims, deficiency and collection issues, lender liability claims, and Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) issues.

In addition, Tony has experience representing employers against former employees in disputes involving trade secret issues, covenants not to compete, and non-solicitation of employees or customers. 

Tony also has experience with franchise litigation where he has represented franchisors in disputes with franchisees involving business torts and breach of contract issues.

Tony is a member of Snell & Wilmer's Attorney Development Committee and the Committee on Diversity & Inclusion.

  • Represented owner of wastewater treatment facilities in contract dispute with local city government
  • Supervised and coordinated ESI-intensive discovery processes in multimillion dollar disputes in both federal district court and Arizona state court
  • Represented defendant company in class action alleging violations of FCRA
  • Represented multiple companies in cases alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
