AJ Pepper is a commercial real estate attorney focusing on mixed-use, transit-oriented, office, retail, condominium, hotel and resort projects, as well as multifamily residences, subdivisions, and master planned communities. He has worked with financial institutions, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and asset management firms, and local, regional and national developers, investors and land owners on complex real estate developments, acquisitions and dispositions, and financings throughout the United States.
AJ’s background in urban planning and vision for sustainable development allows him to understand clients' vision, solve legal challenges and collaboratively work with stakeholders to create successful projects that inspire and appeal to all segments of the end user market. In this regard, he regularly represents clients on government relations matters relating to zoning and land use approvals.
AJ also has experience drafting leases, resolving complex title and survey issues, performing real estate due diligence and helping clients document and close a wide range of real estate transactions and commercial loans. He also enjoys serving his community and using his skills and knowledge to have a positive impact through pro bono service.
