Snell & Wilmer Partner Steffi Hafen Appointed to Junior Achievement of San Diego County Board of Directors

SAN DIEGO (March 26, 2024) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that the managing partner of the firm’s San Diego office, Steffi Hafen, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of San Diego County. 

Junior Achievement (JA) was founded in 1919 and was one of the earliest non-profit organizations to work towards youth education, and economic development. JA is now a global organization with 103 local JA Areas in the United States dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. 

JA San Diego serves a diverse population of students from across the socio-economic spectrum and has impacted over one million young people since 1950. Using experiential curriculum and a network of industry mentors, JA San Diego curates learning experiences that engage and inspire local youth, and continues to focus on opportunities that better prepare – and connect – San Diego’s students with future careers.

Hafen is the managing partner of our San Diego office, and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a co-leader of the firm’s Private Client Services practice group and a partner in the General Federal Tax practice group. Her practice is concentrated in tax, trust, and estate matters with emphasis in estate planning, trust and probate administration, and estate and gift taxation. She is also a member of the Lawyers’ Club; the Association for Corporate Growth; and the San Diego North County Estate Planning Council. She received her L.L.M in Taxation from Loyola Law School, her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, and her B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara.
