Snell & Wilmer Partner Cary Jones Returns to Salt Lake City Office

SALT LAKE CITY (October 10, 2023) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Cary D. Jones has relocated from the Los Angeles office to the Salt Lake City office.

Cary Jones has practiced for over 30 years in all aspects of sophisticated national real estate transactions such as mixed use, transit, hotel, and historic properties; ski resorts, shopping centers and office developments and joint ventures as well as zoning and land use, real estate financing, and construction. 

Jones is a respected leader in both the California and Utah legal communities. He has been ranked by Super Lawyers for multiple years, in both regions. He was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a Top 100 Lawyer and as a Real Estate Visionary by the Los Angeles County Commercial Real Estate Magazine. Jones was part of the group of attorneys that led the opening of the firm’s Salt Lake office in 1991. He then moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to lead the opening of Snell & Wilmer’s Los Angeles office, where he served as managing partner from its opening through January 2023. He also served as a board member on the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce from 2009 to 2022. Jones has now relocated back to the Salt Lake City office, where he will continue to serve clients in real estate services.
