Snell & Wilmer Partner Amit Ranade Elected to King County Bar Association Board of Trustees

SEATTLE – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Partner Amit Ranade was elected to the King County Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. 

King County Bar Association was founded in 1886 with a mission to promote and support a diverse and collegial membership; work with the judiciary to achieve excellence, equity, and accessibility in the administration of justice; and benefit the community through public service and engagement in public policy.

Ranade is a trial lawyer who focuses on bankruptcy law. His practice also involves real estate, commercial, and business litigation matters, primarily representing owners, lenders, investors, and developers. Ranade represents creditors, buyers, and investors, official committees, and trustees. Rande has experience with condemnation proceedings; secured debt financing disputes; environmental cost recovery actions; title and boundary disputes; evictions and lease disputes; constructions disputes; and land use and regulatory appeals. His commercial and business litigation practice includes a focus on matters involving the Uniform Commercial Code, partnership disputes, business interference, and consumer protection matters.

Ranade is widely recognized for his practice in bankruptcy, and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, real estate litigation, land use/zoning and real estate law in publications such as The Best Lawyers in America®, and Washington Super Lawyers®. Ranade also received the President’s Award by King County Bar Association in 2015.
