Snell & Wilmer Attorneys John C. Vryhof and Patrick A. Tighe Among 2023 Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney Awardees

PHOENIX (June 15, 2023) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix Partner John C. Vryhof and Associate Patrick A. Tighe are amongst the awardees for the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys for 2023.

Nominated by the Foundation’s Approved Legal Service entities, these awards honor 50 attorneys who have provided numerous hours to helping provide access to justice. Awards acknowledged in conjunction with the Foundation participation in the annual Arizona State Bar Convention.  

Vryhof's practice is concentrated in estate planning, trust and estate litigation, charitable planning, foundation and nonprofit organizations, business succession planning, and international estate planning. He is a Fellow and a past State Chair of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC). He is also recognized as a Certified Specialist in Tax Law and a Certified Specialist in Estate and Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona.

Tighe has a varied commercial litigation practice and assists clients in resolving complex disputes through trial, alternative dispute resolution, and on appeal. Patrick has experience in many types of business disputes, including real estate and construction litigation, employment litigation, appellate law, business tort and corporate governance litigation, class action, internal investigations, civil rights and constitutional litigation, replevin, and judgment enforcement. In his appellate practice, Patrick has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Curcuit.
