Snell & Wilmer’s Salt Lake City Office Welcomes New Partner, Daniel Daines
SALT LAKE CITY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Daniel S. Daines has joined the firm’s Salt Lake City office as Partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice Group. Daines represents private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, venture investors, and founders in mergers and acquisitions, growth investments, complex financings, and other significant transactions. With more than 17 years of experience, Daines has led transactions of all sizes, from structuring and negotiation through closing and beyond. He also advises companies and boards on corporate governance and strategic matters, combining rigorous legal judgment with a practical, business-minded approach to help clients execute transactions efficiently and address their long-term business objectives.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Daines was a partner with Kirkland & Ellis. Earlier in his career, he practiced with several Utah-based firms and previously worked as an associate at Snell & Wilmer.
Daines earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he served as an editor of the BYU Law Review’s Education and Law Journal. He received his B.A. in History from Brigham Young University.
