Snell & Wilmer Welcomes Emily Statham to the Washington, D.C. Office
Washington, D.C. – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Emily Statham has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as an associate in its Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group.
Statham advises clients on complex regulatory matters involving pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, including the development and commercialization of human and veterinary drugs and biologics, digital health tools, and products that incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning. She assists companies and major hospital systems on compliance with states’ Board of Pharmacy licensure and reporting requirements, and she conducts comprehensive risk assessments regarding compliance with state and federal controlled substances laws.
Statham received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A.s in Biomedical Ethics, Spanish, and Portuguese from Rice University. She is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
