SEATTLE (October 5, 2026) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce the arrival of Anthony R. Scisciani III to the firm’s Litigation, Investigations, and Trials practice in Seattle.
Tony joins from HWS Law Group, where he practiced for 24 years and served as Managing Partner since 2020. He represents clients throughout Washington and Oregon in complex civil litigation matters with a focus on construction and general liability disputes, including matters involving construction defect, worksite injury, consumer protection, professional liability, fire loss, transportation accidents, and property preservation.
“Snell & Wilmer’s growing Seattle presence, combined with its national platform, creates an ideal opportunity to continue building my practice while delivering the full range of resources and capabilities clients need to achieve their business objectives,” said Tony. “I was immediately drawn to the firm’s collaborative culture, reputation, depth of talent, and commitment to client services.”
Tony regularly advises local, regional, and national clients on matters arising from the development, construction, remediation, and renovation of residential, commercial, and mixed-use, helping them manage risk and navigate challenges. He has extensive experience representing clients through settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial, leveraging his experience conducting hundreds of fact and expert witness depositions to strengthen clients’ interests and to resolve claims.
“Since opening the Seattle office, we have been intentional in building a team of accomplished attorneys who are leaders in their respective fields,” said Josh Rataezyk, who joined as the firm’s first Seattle partner in 2021 and has helped oversee the office’s growth. “Tony’s deep roots in the Pacific Northwest reflect the kind of leadership we want as we continue to grow.”
Tony has been an active leader in several regional professional organizations and speaks frequently about new developments in the law in the Pacific Northwest.
“Tony’s understanding of the industries he serves makes him a strong addition to our multidisciplinary litigation practice,” said Amit Ranade, a bankruptcy partner in the Seattle office. “His extensive experience handling complex disputes and helping clients anticipate risk will strengthen the counsel we provide across the firm.”
