Snell & Wilmer Partners Steffi Hafen and Lisa Roper Recognized as Top Estate and Wealth Management Lawyers by the Daily Journal

SAN DIEGO – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that partner Steffi Hafen and counsel Lisa B. Roper have been recognized as “Top Estate and Wealth Management Lawyers” by the Daily Journal. The annual recognition honors California attorneys who specialize in trusts, estate planning, and probate law.

Hafen co-leads Snell & Wilmer’s Private Client Services Practice Group and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning, trust and probate administration, estate and gift taxation, and business succession planning. She advises high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on advanced estate planning strategies, including trusts, family partnerships, charitable planning, insurance planning and private foundations. Hafen also advises clients on succession planning for closely held businesses and works with their financial and tax advisors to develop comprehensive solutions.

As a member of Snell & Wilmer’s Private Client Services group, Roper focuses her practice on complex and high-net-worth trust and estate matters, including trust administrations, fiduciary litigation, and related probate controversies. She is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization and represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries and other interested parties in complex trust administrations as well as contested matters involving fiduciary obligations, allegations of misconduct, contested accountings and estate administration challenges. Roper guides clients through all phases of administration and litigation, from pre-dispute strategy through trial and resolution, and counsels clients with an emphasis on proactive problem-solving and dispute avoidance.
