Snell & Wilmer Partners Joshua K. Partington and Victor J. Roehm III Elected as Fellows of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Partners Joshua K. Partington and Victor J. Roehm III have been elected as Fellows of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA).  While their membership is effective immediately, they will formally be inducted into the College at its Annual Meeting on September 18, 2026, in Santa Barbara, California.

Formed in 1974, ACMA states it is the leading organization of counsel in the United States, Canada and Mexico who are recognized by their peers as distinguished practitioners in the field of mortgage law and real estate finance based upon the high caliber of their legal skills, knowledge, experience and professionalism. According to ACMA, ACMA provides the best environment in North America for private practice and in-house real estate finance lawyers to develop professional excellence, trustworthy national business networks and lasting collegial relationships. ACMA currently has 532 Fellows throughout the United States, its Territories, Canada, and Mexico.

Partington focuses on advising lenders and other institutional clients on commercial finance and real property-related matters. With more than a decade and a half of experience across a comprehensive range of practices, he combines his litigation and transactional knowledge to address his clients’ broad range of needs. His work spans real property disputes, regional and middle-market lending transactions, and national lender bankruptcy representation. Partington represents clients across a range of sectors and venues, including commercial finance, lending transactions, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights litigation, and real property litigation.

Roehm III focuses his practice on commercial and public finance transactions, as well as other corporate and real estate matters. He has extensive experience representing financial institutions and borrowers in secured and unsecured loan transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, borrowing base financings, mezzanine loans, and real estate-secured term and construction loans for office buildings, retail centers, housing developments, hotels, renewable energy projects, and healthcare facilities, as well as lines of credit and factoring agreements. He advises clients on loan workouts, restructurings, foreclosures, discounted payoffs, and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure. Roehm III also has substantial public finance experience, serving as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, letter of credit bank counsel, borrower’s counsel, and issuer’s counsel on a variety of tax-exempt bond financings.
