PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is proud to announce that Partner Robin Miskell has been awarded the 2025 Eleanor ter Horst Distinguished service award by the Executive Council of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona.
The Eleanor ter Horst distinguished award was created in 2001 by the State Bar of Arizona to honor Eleanor ter Horst for her good work with the Pima County Court in 1986. The Eleanor ter Horst Distinguished Service Award recognizes an attorney who has demonstrated superior knowledge of the law of probate and trusts and the willingness to share their knowledge with the bar, the bench, and the public. That individual has participated in probate and trust-related organizations, committees and projects which benefit the bar, the court, and the public, and makes an effort to enhance public awareness of probate and trust law issues.
Miskell focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, taxation and exempt organizations. She is experienced in drafting complex trust agreements, gift and estate tax returns, creating charitable organizations and handling complex trust and estate administration cases. Miskell is a Certified Estate and Trust Law Specialist through the State Bar of Arizona, and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She designs customized estate plans for married and unmarried couples, individuals and high-net-worth clients that include tax saving strategies, probate avoidance, education planning for children, charitable giving, inter-generational wealth transfers, real estate, life insurance and retirement strategies, and end-of-life planning.
